ATC approves bail after arrest pleas of 28 PTI workers in November 26 protest related cases

ISLAMABAD, JAN 22 (ONLINE): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad has approved bail after pleas of 28 out of 29 PTI workers accused in the cases registered against them in connection with PTI November 26 protest.

The bail after arrest plea of one accused was rejected.

Judge Abul Hasnat Muhammad Zulqarnain of ATC took up bail pleas for hearing Wednesday.
Sardar Muhammad Masroof Khan advocate, Aamna A li advocate, Ansar Kiyani advocate and Fateh Ali Burki advocate gave arguments on behalf of the accused persons.

They took the plea the accused were not even heard. No solid evidence in respect of the cases registered against them is available. Therefore, they are entitled to bail.

The court while accepting bail after arrest pleas of 28 out of 29 accused ordered to release them.
The cases are registered against the accused in police station Secretariat, Kohsar and others.
