ISLAMABAD â November 6 (ONLINE) Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday left for Egypt to participate in the âSharm El-Sheikh Climate Implementation Summitâ being held on November 7-8.
During his visit, Shehbaz Sharif will be accompanied by members of the cabinet and senior officials. Summit is taking place as part of the 27th UN Climate Change Conference (COP-27).
PM Office on Sunday said in a press release that the prime minister would also co-chair, along with his Norwegian counterpart, a high-level roundtable discussion on âClimate Change and the sustainability of vulnerable communitiesâ on 8th November.
The Prime Minister will also participate in other high-level events as a speaker, including the UN Secretary Generalâs roundtable to launch the âEarly Warning Systems for Executive Action Planâ, and the âMiddle East Green Initiative Summitâ on November 7, being hosted by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman.
