LHC orders to take action against persons involved in chopping trees in private housing societies

LAHORE, April 20 (Online): Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to take action against the persons involved in chopping trees in private housing schemes.

The case pertaining to eradication of smog came up for hearing before LHC Thursday.

The petitioner Azhar Siddique appeared before the court.

The court remarked heat wave is coming fast in Asia. Railway and PHA should work together for tree plantation.

The court maintained that Gymkhana, Royal Palm and Nishat should together evolve strategy to make government water reusable. If it is not done so then they should remain ready to face stern action.

The court ordered to take steps for preventing heat wave.
