Bilawal emphasizes addressing issues of climate change, food security

ISLAMABAD 16 June (Online): Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari says Pakistan People’s Party is committed to upholding and protecting human rights.

Addressing the ceremony in Islamabad today, he said PPP’s core philosophy revolves around the protection of fundamental human rights.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said there is a need to work on human rights at the grass root level to ensure a healthy society.

He also laid emphasis on addressing the issues of climate change and food security.

Foreign Minister said Pakistan is committed to forging good relations with all major powers. Beyond the U.S. and China, this includes Russia, Europe and Japan as well as ASEAN and the Republic of Korea.

Bilawal Bhutto said we see a positive trend in Pakistan-Africa bilateral linkages in terms of trade, political, parliamentary, and military and security Cooperation.

He said Pakistan is fully committed to ensuring the success of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, which has a transformational effect as it completes its first decade this year.

Foreign Minister said CPEC’s extension to Afghanistan and further West would help significantly advance our agenda of connectivity and economic integration.
