BEIJING Oct 11 (Online): The Chinese government’s special envoy for the Middle East issues, Chai Jun, spoke on the telephone to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry’s Assistant Minister for Palestinian Affairs, Osama Satelli, regarding the situation between Palestine and Israel.
China expresses concern over the tension and violence between Palestine and Israel, and expresses sorrow over the large number of civilians killed in the conflict, according to Chinese media on Wednesday.

He said that the main reason for the continuous conflict between Palestine and Israel is the delay in solving the problems of Palestine in a fair way.

Egyptian Assistant Minister Osama praised China’s fair stance on the Palestine issue.
He said that the international community should fulfill its responsibility and create a favorable environment for a peaceful process between Palestine and Israel.
