Islamabad Nov 13 (Online): Nida Yasir is the most successful morning show host in Pakistan. She has been hosting her show on ARY for over a decade now and she has been in her fair share of controversies and has featured on a lot of memes. Nida is very open about whatever has happened on her show and she shares how her show has evolved over the years.
She was a guest on Ahmed Ali Butt’s podcast and she revealed what really went down last year when Rabia Anum left the morning show live because Mohsin Abbas Haider was a guest there. Rabia said that she will not sit with a domestic abuser and left the show live. Mohsin remained silent on the whole thing and Nida had to take a break. Nida revealed finally that Rabia knew that Mohsin was a guest on the show when she shared the same makeup room and instead of talking abot this off air to Nida, she complained a bit to her team and later on said everything on air.
Nida added that she had not called anyone to humiliate them and Rabia leaving in that manner was a cause of humiliation for her as well. She has not invited Rabia on her show ever since. Here is what she revealed:
Nida also talked about conspiracies regarding morning shows. She shared that yes there was a time when hosts would do horror shows and wedding weeks due to competition but later on things changed. Things are much better now and but a stamp is there and mostly who criticize morning shows now are the ones who don’t watch it.
