ISLAMABAD, November 03 (Online): As many as 5 people were killed and over 15 including police men were injured in an explosion near police van in main market in D I Khan.
Some unknown persons hit the police van that carries Elite Force personnel resulting into death of 5 people and leaving over 15 persons injured.
Bodies and injured were shifted to hospital. On this occasion some unknown persons opened firing on policemen in hospital.
The injured included Abdul Hamid, Ishaq, Qudratullah, Nasir, Yasir, Shireen, Qamar Zaman and others.
Police have besieged the area and started search operation.
According to preliminary investigation motorcycle was used in explosion. Explosive material was planted in motorcycle.
The age of victims is stated to be between 15 to 20 years.
One victim has been recognized as Qamar Zaman. The injured include 2 women and one baby.
