Statements of witnesses could not be recorded in cipher case

ISLAMABAD, OCT 31 (ONLINE): The statements of witnesses could not be recorded in cipher case and Special Court established under official secret act adjourned the hearing till next Tuesday.

The case came up for hearing in special court led by judge Abul Hasnat Zulqarnain in Adiala jail Tuesday.

During the hearing of the case FIA team presented 10 more witnesses.
Chairman PTI and Shah Mehmood Qureshi were taken to court room.
State counsels Umar Ishtiaq and Muhammad Sharjeel were also present in the court.

During the hearing of the case 10 witnesses were presented.
The witnesses include Imran Sajjad deputy director , Aqeel Haider deputy director, Shamoon Qaiser deputy director, M Fazal SO, Nadir Khan deputy director, Iqra Ashraf from ministry of foreign affairs, Farrukh Abbas, Haseeb bin Aziz, IO Shabbir and investigation officer Khushnood.

The process of recording statements of the state witnesses was to be started formally in court room in the case. However statement of any witness could not be recorded.

The hearing of the case was adjourned till next Tuesday.
