ISLAMABAD, OCT 27 (Online): Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) has accepted the resignation of his principal secretary Dr Tauqir Shah.
Tauqir Shah will leave the post of principal secretary from October 31. Period of one month notice was also abolished.
Establishment division has issued notification regarding acceptance of Dr Tauqir Shah resignation.
According to sources Dr Tauqir Shah has got job in World Bank (WB). He will move to WB next month.
Former PM Shehbaz Sharif had appointed Dr Tauqir Shah on the basis of one year contract. He is grade 22 officer of Pakistan administration service.
He was given extension of one year in service on contract basis after reaching retirement age in last week of December 2022.
