Islamabad, Oct 26 (Online): The National Assembly Secretariat has managed to get back its vehicles from the former Chairmen of the Standing Committees after two and a half months; however, some of the vehicles are in a bad condition, while the vehicles have passed after the term of the assembly. Additional money has also been collected from the former Chairmen.
The National Assembly Secretariat Chairman succeeded in taking back the official vehicles from the standing committees after two and a half months.
The former Chairmen of more than 40 standing committees of the National Assembly were given official vehicles.
Most of the vehicles were taken back from the former chairmen after the dissolution of the National Assembly in August.
Eight to ten ex-chairmen were using them, on which they were sent notices of return, the spokesman of the National Assembly said that now the vehicles have also been taken back from them, the former chairmen who kept the vehicles after the term of the assembly have to pay at the rate of per kilometer. Now no ex-chairman has any National Assembly vehicle.
