Kuwait City, OCT 24 (ONLINE): As Hindutva mindset is not letting the Indians sit quietly on any issue confronting Muslims around the globe, after the arrest of a doctor in Bahrain, now an Indian nurse is also under the scanner in Kuwait for her support to Israeli brutal actions involving Palestinian children’s deaths, the bombing of Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza, and displaying the Zionist entity’s flag on her social media accounts.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Kuwaiti lawyer Ali Habab Al-Duwaikh has formally submitted a complaint to the Public Prosecution against the Indian nurse working with Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital. Her actions, the complaint said, are viewed as a violation of Kuwait’s legal statutes and the emir’s decree, which declared a state of war between Kuwait and Israel.
The development comes days after a senior Indian doctor in Bahrain, Dr. Sunil Rao, was arrested and fired from Royal Hospital for posting “anti-Palestine” comments on social media.
Dr. Rao was arrested by Bahrain’s Anti-Cyber Crimes Directorate of the General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Electronic Security for violations of civil peace and social stability that could affect society’s security and safety.
In his complaint against the Indian nurse in Kuwait, lawyer Al-Duwaikh emphasised the strong stance of the Kuwaiti government and its people in support of Palestine, particularly in the wake of the tragic bombing of Al Ahli Hospital. He pointed out the Minister of Health’s call for nurses and doctors to protest against the Zionist entity. Al-Duwaikh stated, “Despite this, a nurse at Mubarak Al-Kabeer Hospital boldly displayed the flag of the Zionist entity in her WhatsApp status, thereby endorsing the criminal act that occurred,” Kuwait’s Arab Times daily said.
The lawyer went on to detail his official complaint to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, requesting legal action against the nurse. Al-Duwaikh stressed that her actions demonstrated support for the Zionist entity and a disregard for Kuwait’s State Security Law, particularly referencing Article Seven, which criminalises such acts. This could lead to life imprisonment or a minimum of five years imprisonment, the daily said.
Furthermore, Al-Duwaikh called upon Muslims in Kuwait and the broader Islamic World to combat the Zionist entity and its supporters in accordance with domestic and international laws. He suggested that even if direct confrontations across borders are not feasible, internal efforts can still significantly impact the Zionist entity.
