No evidence of corruption against Ishaq Dar in asset case: NAB prosecutor tells AC

ISLAMABAD, Oct 23 (Online): NAB prosecutor has said in Accountability Court (AC) Islamabad that there are no evidences of corruption against Ishaq Dar in accumulation of assets beyond known source of
Income; therefore, case cannot be run against him further.

Judge Muhammad Bashir remarked NAB Prosecutor General (PG) should give explanation in writing on this point. He should give in writing they have no objection over acquittal of Ishaq Dar and others. Tomorrow NAB should not say that it had not said like this.
NAB Prosecutor Afzal Qureshi said we have given arguments on merit. Court should announce the judgment.

The court remarked give us in writing, we will announce decision.
NAB presented written reply in the court.
The counsel said the entire case was put to trial and the statements of witnesses are before you.

The counsel for Ishaq Dar said court should write its finding in the decision.

Misbahul Hassan advocate said indictment has been framed in the case.
The lawyer said it was written in previous decision there are no evidence in the case, therefore, it is being closed. He should have been acquitted being the charges not proved.

The lawyer said his client should be acquitted in the light of statement.
Judge Muhammad Bashir remarked he needs half an hour to write the order.
