Kashmiris, Pakistanis join national solidarity rallies for Palestine

LONDON / BIRMINGHAM (PNI) Kashmiris and Pakistanis joined hundreds of thousands of people in the UK on Saturday in national solidarity with suffering Palestinians.

  1. Over 100,000 people marches across the streets of London to seek end to illegal occupation, settler colonialism in Palestine by apartheid state of Israel.

    Donning Palestinian flags, raising pro-Palestine slogans, the demonstrators urged the British government and international community to seek immediate end to Israeli bombardment of besieged Gaza.

Tens of hundreds of Kashmiris and Pakistanis joined the pro-Palestine solidarity march and rallies, expressing their unconditional support to suffering Palestinians.

Fahim Kayani, president Tehreek-e-Kashmir UK, other Pakistani and Kashmiri leaders led demonstration in Birmingham where thousands of people came to join the national solidarity protest in favor of Palestinians.

“Kashmiris are the back of Palestinians, come whatsoever,” Kayani said.

“The images and videos coming out of Gaza are not just heartbreaking, the situation in Gaza demands resistance by any means necessary,” Kayani said.

The root cause of the armed conflict in Palestine, the Kashmiri diaspora leader, stressed “lies in the illegal occupation of Palestine.”

“Kashmiris know your pain well, and we will not keep silent until Palestine and Kashmir get freedom from the illegal occupying powers – Israel and India,” he said.

Stuart Richardson Stop the war coalition ، Councilor Ch. Muhammad Ayub, Kh. Inam ul Haq, Salma Yaqoob, Cllr Babar Baz, Khawajah Hasan and Iram Tahir, attended the demonstrations who condemned the illegal airstrikes by Israel into Gaza.

“It is violation of the so-called international law and the so-called upholders of international rules-based order are maintaining criminal silence,” they said.
