ISLAMABAD Oct 22 (Online): The matters of trial of civilians in the military court, the nine suspects of the May 9 incident have approached the Supreme Court.
Written petitions have been filed in the Supreme Court.
In the petitions, the stand has been taken that the accused in the custody of the military authority became disgusted with the Supreme Court proceedings.
The military detainees have requested the Supreme Court for a trial in a military court. The case of the military courts is pending in the Supreme Court. After the May 9 incident, the accused are in the custody of the military authorities.
The petitioners said that the treatment of the military authorities during the detention is unexpectedly good. We have complete faith in justice from the military authority. The Supreme Court is the aggrieved party in the case of the military courts.
In the petitions, it has been requested that the Supreme Court should make us a party in the case.
