Malala calls for immediate ceasefire

LONDON, October 18 (ONLINE): – Pakistani Nobel laureate and human rights activist Malala Yousafzai while condemning Israeli bombing of al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza has called for immediate ceasefire.

In her video message released on X, formerly Twitter, the rights activist said collective punishment was not the answer.

“I’m horrified to see the bombing of al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza and unequivocally condemn it. I urge the Israeli government to allow humanitarian aid into Gaza and reiterate the call for a ceasefire. I am directing $300K to three charities helping Palestinian people under attack,” Malala posted on X.
