Fakhar Zaman should not left out of the playing XI: Abdul Razzaq

ISLAMABAD Oct 17 (Online): Former national team all-rounder Abdul Razzaq has said that opener Fakhar Zaman should not have been left out of the playing eleven in the ICC World Cup.

In a private TV program, former cricketer Abdul Razzaq spoke about the selection and performance of the national team, in which he expressed his displeasure over Fakhar Zaman being dropped from the playing XI and Abdullah Shafiq being taken.

Abdul Razzaq said that players should be given confidence in international cricket, a batsman like Fakhar should not be replaced and the management should give him a chance to play in the entire World Cup.

The former cricketer openly criticized the performance of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan in the important match against India.

Expressing disappointment, he said that I do not believe in the partnership of Babar and Rizwan, they were playing with fear.

Despite having experience and holding the number one ranking, they seem to lack quality shots, the players really need to improve their game.

It should be noted that Pakistan will play its fourth match against Australia on October 20.
