Nationwide crackdown against smuggling of Iranian oil continue

Sheikhupura/Islamabad, Oct 10 (Online): Law enforcers have started nationwide operations against illegal economic activities and smuggling of Iranian oil on Tuesday.

The security forces have seized the Iranian oil of worth 60 crore from Machi area of Sheikhupura and the stations through which this oil was being sold have also been sealed.

The intelligence agencies had received information that Iranian oil was being brought in Machi area of Sheikhupura and then it was being sold in different parts of the country.

More than 30 large oil tankers were seized, each of which contained 50,000 liters of oil. This oil was smuggled from Iran and brought here and then sold in different parts of the country.

The law enforcement agencies have sealed all the illegal stations and deployed forces there and raids are underway to arrest those involved.
