Islamabad OCTOBER 06 (Online): Caretaker Health Minister Dr Nadeem Jan said that it is my mission to ensure massive reforms in Health Sector.
I am ensuring strong practical steps to complete the agenda.
Ambassador of Cuba has met with Federal Minister for Health Dr Nadeem Jan.
In the meeting, it was agreed to boost cooperation in health sector. Dr. Nadeem Jan also presented the invitation to the Global Health Security Summit to be held in Pakistan.
On this occasion, the Health Minister said that Pakistan should play its prominent role to fulfill the agenda of global health security, in case of any sudden epidemic, it is necessary to ensure the supply of vaccines in poor countries on an equal basis.
Pakistan is developing a long-term strategy for drug supply. They want to make molecules in Pakistan through transfer of technology.
He said that positive progress is ongoing from friendly countries.
Cuba Ambassador said that holding Global Health Security Summit is a good initiative of Pakistan. We will fully support and cooperate with the Global Health Security Summit.
