LAHORE, OCT 03 (ONLINE): The petition seeking B class in jail for PTI leader Ejaz Chaudhry has been sent to chief justice Lahore High Court (LHC).
The petition filed by Salma Ijaz wife of Ejaz Chaudhry seeking B class in Jail for her husband came up for hearing before a two members bench of LHC presided over by Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry Tuesday.
Counsel for Punjab government took the plea that Additional Advocate General (AAG) Ghulam Sarwar Nihang has been appearing in this case. He has challenged decisions of such cases.
Justice Shehram Sarwar Chaudhry inquired are those appeals fixed for hearing in bench.
The counsel for Punjab government told the court those appeals are pending hearing in the court of Justice Baqir Ali Najfi.
Later the court while recommending for fixing the petition for hearing in two members bench of LHC presided over by Justice Baqir Ali Najfi sent the file to chief justice LHC.
