ISLAMABAD, SEP 27 (ONLINE): Supreme Court (SC) has declared that the matter of access to SC record under information act is highly important.
A 3-member bench of SC presided over by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa took up the case for hearing Wednesday.
CJP called Attorney General (AG) on rostrum. The counsel for the citizen who is petitioner also came on rostrum.
The CJP remarked “AG Sahb, see the record and make preparation. This is sensitive issue. It should not happen so that we may be saying some thing else and AG saying something else.
He remarked that Additional Attorney General (AAG) Aamir Rehman will represent Registrar office.
The CJP remarked the case will be heard in the last according to number. We will call you when turn of case comes.
