Judicial remand of PTI chairman, Shah Mehmood Qureshi extended till Oct 10 in cipher missing case

SLAMABAD, SEP 26 (ONLINE): Official Secret Act Court has extended judicial remand of PTI chairman Imran Khan and vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi till October 10 in cipher missing case.

The case came up for hearing before the court Tuesday.

Shah Mehmood Qureshid was presented in the court on completion of his judicial remand. The court staff marked his attendance.

Earlier it was said in a notification issued by law ministry that the ministry has no objection over holding hearing of this case in Attock Jail due to security concerns.

A day before Chief Justice (CJ) Islamabad High Court (IHC) Aamir Farooq had ordered to shift chairman PTI from Attock jail to Adiala jail.

Sher Afzal Marwat counsel for Imran Khan had tweeted that Imran Khan has been shifted to Adiala jail. He has been kept in such a room where the facility of wash room and other amenities are available.

Naeem Panjutha the second lawyer of PTI said Imran Khan has been shifted to Adiala jail. But he said this too that he has talked to Attock jail authorities who are saying Imran Khan is still with them.

On the other hand Attock Jail administration had said chairman PTI was not shifted to Adiala jail so far.
