All political parties should have full freedom to contest elections: Murtaza Solangi

KARACHI Sep 24 (Online): Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has said that it is clear in the constitution that the system of the country will be run by elected representatives.
No political party can be prevented from contesting elections; all parties should have full freedom.

Addressing the ceremony at Radio Pakistan in Karachi, Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi said that they are working for the betterment of Radio Pakistan, Radio Pakistan’s broadcasting should be digital, they will solve the problems of Radio Pakistan under legal and constitutional powers.

I assure you that the given time will be used to solve the problems. He said that it is clear in the constitution that the system of the country will be run by elected representatives.

All political parties should have full freedom to contest elections, no political party can be prevented from contesting elections.

The caretaker federal minister said that I did not come to give excuses about how bad our conditions are, I did not come to tell that we have a government of limited duration and limited authority, I will say that whatever it is, we are the government.

I will not say that previous people have done it.
Murtaza Solangi said that we will fulfill our responsibility to solve the problems, I am sure a lot can be done.

All four provinces should be represented in the board of Radio Pakistan. He directed the government media to give fair coverage to the registered political parties and said that the government media should not support or oppose any political party.
