Lahore SEPTEMBER 13 (Online): Caretaker government of Punjab has decided to ensure implementation of decision of daily trial in jail in respect of accused of May 9 tragedy.
Meeting was held under caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore.
The progress on issues related to events of May 9 and Jaranwala was reviewed.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has directed a team consisting of 3 ministers and senior officers to visit Jaranwala and submit report.
It was also decided in the meeting to ensure implementation of decision of daily trial of perpetrators of May 9 mayhem in jail.
He has also ordered to submit all the challans of Lahore within 3 days on incident of May 9.
It was told in the briefing given in the meeting that construction and renovation of 9 churches in Jaranwala has been completed.
Caretaker Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has directed to complete the construction and renovation of 13 more churches in 2 weeks.
