LAHORE, SEP 08 (Online): Lahore High Court (LHC) has ordered to de-seal 10 theatres of Lahore division.
Justice Raheel Kamran Sheikh took up petition from owners of theatres for hearing Friday.
Chief Secretary, commissioner Lahore division and others were made respondents in the petition
The petitioners took the plea the respondents shut the theatres without hearing the stance. The theatres were shut against the law. Court should order to deseal the theatres.
The court remarked during the hearing of the case if there is any complaint against the petitioners’ then action be taken as per law. No proceeding be initiated in illegal way.
The court ordered to reopen Naz theatre, Mehfil Theatre, Sittara theatre, Sangam theatre, Virsa theatre, Gulistan theatre, Ravi theatre and Nagina theatre.
