QUETTA, Sep 01 (Online): As many as 8 terrorists were killed in an operation by the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in district Washak Balochistan.
According to CTD, operation was conducted in Basima areas on secret information.
CTD conducted raid on a house on the information of presence of terrorists therein. The terrorists opened firing.
As per CTD spokesperson 8 terrorists were killed in an exchange of firing while other accomplices of terrorists escaped.
During search of the house, CTD recovered weapons and ammunition in huge quantity.
Spokesperson further said one Abu Bakar was recovered from hideout of the terrorists who was abducted one month before.
The process of identification of killed terrorists and search of their escaping accomplices is under way.
