Decline in rupee’s value, also decline foreign exchange reserves

KARACHI Aug 31 (Online): Along with the decline in the value of the rupee, there is also a decline in the foreign exchange reserves, and during a week, the government’s foreign exchange reserves decreased by another 8 million dollars.

According to the data released by the State Bank, on the week ending August 25, domestic foreign exchange reserves were recorded at the level of 13 billion 17 billion 11 million dollars.

During this time, the reserves of the central bank remained at the level of 7 billion 84 billion 93 million dollars after a decrease of 8 billion 10 million dollars, while the level of commercial banks’ reserves was recorded at the level of 5 billion 32 billion 18 million dollars
