PTI files reply in EC in intra party election case

ISLAMABAD, Aug 30 (Online): PTI has filed reply in Election Commission (EC) in intra party election case.
PTI intra party election case came up for hearing in EC before 4-member commission led by member Nisar Durrani Wednesday.

PTI chief election commissioner Barrister Gohar Ali appeared before EC.

Gohar Ali filed reply in EC with reference to intra party election.

Barrister Gohar Ali said all the facts have been explained in detailed reply.

Member Nisar Durrani inquired will you want to give arguments today in the light of reply.

PTI counsel sought time from EC for giving arguments.

Member Nisar Durrani said we cannot linger on this case too much. EC has allotted election symbols to political parties in connection with election. Decision will be taken to allot election symbol to PTI on completion of arguments.

EC accepted the plea for giving two weeks time to barrister Gohar for giving arguments.

The EC adjourned the hearing of case till September 13.
