Caretaker Prime Minister Kakar unable to form his cabinet

Islamabad, Aug 16 (Online): Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar could not form his cabinet three days after assuming office and in this regard he continued consultations on Wednesday.

Sources privy to the development said that the Caretaker Cabinet will take oath in two stages. In the first phase, eight to ten ministers will take oath.

President Arif Alvi will take oath from the caretaker cabinet in a ceremony held in the President’s House.

In the second phase, around a dozen ministers may take oath.
The names are circulating in the media but the Caretaker Prime Minister has not finalized anyone’s name yet.

He is constantly consulting with all partners and getting information from NAB, FIA about the people he wants to include in his cabinet.
