Another Indian soldier committed suicide with an official rifle in Occupied Kashmir

SRINAGAR Aug 13 (Online): Another paramilitary force officer in Occupied Kashmir ended his life by shooting himself due to lack of courage and mental stress.

According to media reports, officers and personnel started running after the sound of firing in an army base in Pulwama district of beauty of heavens valley. At the scene of the incident, an officer’s body was lying in a pool of blood with a bullet in the head. An official rifle was also found near the body.

Paramilitary forces took the body of the Central Reserve Police Force officer to the Military Hospital, where doctors confirmed his death.

No suicide note was found near the body, but the angle of the bullet indicates that the officer shot himself in the head. The cause of suicide could not be determined. The spokesperson of the Indian Army said that the body will be shifted to the native village after necessary operations.

An inquiry committee was formed to investigate the incident.
