LAHORE 05 August (Online): Treatment of housemaid victim of violence is going on in General Hospital Lahore.
Principal PGI Professor Al Farid Zafar said in this regard that condition of girl is improving.
He said that the girl has now been declared oxygen free whereas all reports of Rizwana are also positive.
She can also be shifted to any ward or private room soon and her arms surgery will be carried out next week.
It should be noted that federal police have constituted 5-member JIT in domestic worker Rizwana tortured case, notification of which has also been issued.
The 5-member Special Investigation Team will include 3 police officers, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) and Intelligence Bureau (IB) member.
On the other hand, Child Protection Bureau has obtained legal custody of Rizwana, a victim of violence.
Chairperson Child Protection Bureau Sara Ahmed said that measures will be taken regarding education and better upbringing of Rizwana after recovery.
Girl will be provided complete protection.
