Pakistan rout India to win Triangular Blind Cricket Series

LAHORE- Pakistan blind cricket team routed India by 65 runs in the final of the Triangular Blind Cricket Series at Bashundhara Sports Complex, Dhaka. According to information made available here, Pakistan won any big event after 15 years as last time, they defeated India in the final of the 2nd World Cup of Cricket for the Blind in 2006. India captain Ajay Reddy won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistan again lost Rashid cheaply in the first over the innings but Nisar Ali and Zafar Iqbal played well and added 96 runs for the second wicket stand. Zafar hit 48 off 28 while Nisar slammed 69 off 50 as Pakistan posted 174-3 on the board in 15 overs. Ajay Reddy took 2 wickets for India. In reply, the Indian strong batting lineup couldn’t find the answer of clinical bowling and fielding of Pakistan and was restricted to 112-7 in 15 overs. M Shahzaib was star bowler for Pakistan with 2-28. Nasir Ali was declared man of the final. Earlier in the day, Pakistan beat Bangladesh in the last league match by 7 wickets. Bangladesh made 83 runs in 10 overs and Pakistan chased the target in the 8th over for the loss of 3 wickets.
