Violence on teenage domestice worker in Civil Judge Islamabad’s house is intolerable: Shaza Fatima

LAHORE July 28 (Online): Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) Shaza Fatima Khawaja has expressed her regret over the bail granted to the judge’s wife by the Lahore High Court in the case of violence against the domestic servant of the civil judge of Islamabad.

She said that this incident of violence is unacceptable.
She said this violence incident is intolerable.

SAPM Shaza Fatima Khawaja and Chairman Child Rights Ayesha Raza visited Rizwana, a victim of violence in General Hospital Lahore.
Shaza Fatima Khawaja said that we have met the girl now, her condition is still not good, and she is on oxygen support, as far as medical care is concerned, things are going well.

She said the board which has been made is evaluating what has happened.
Talking about the incident of violence against the girl, she said that it is a very sad incident, whether one is a politician, bureaucrat, judge, lawyer or doctor or the most powerful person, it is unbearable.
He said that under the Domestic Workers Bill of Punjab, it is not permissible to employ a child less than 15 years of age at home, in this way the law is already broken, daughters are every one’s daughters, they also take care of the enemy’s daughters and they are even taken care in wars.
Shaza Fatima said that if you see the condition of this girl, it cannot be the action of a person with the mental state of a normal person.
She regretted that all his accused have got bail, it should not have happened.

She said law is blind is said so that whoever stands before it and justice is done. If they come, they should be equal before the law and the judges.
She said that anyone should be protected illegally and should not be prevented from arrest.

Expressing dissatisfaction over the case registered by the police, she said that the provisions in the First Information Report (FIR). It needs to be improved; the girl’s parents also have reservations about it.
Shaza Fatima said that we will try our best to remove these concerns and improve the FIR; the government is standing with them as far as it can stand.

The Special Assistant said that what happened to this girl today, we all have daughters, they also goes to jobs and after getting married, they also goes to other homes, if today we fail to give justice to this girl, tomorrow we will we may not be in a position to demand justice for our girls.

Addressing the police, he said that the FIR should include the clause of attempted murder, according to the condition of the girl, the clause of threat and violence is not made, her arms, hands and bones are broken, her injuries cannot be seen. Chairman Child Rights Ayesha Raza said that no matter how much this incident is condemned, we all should make this incident a test case.
