ISLAMABAD July 21 (Online): Judge Humayun Dilawar expresses anger over chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Imran Khan’s Lawyer over interference during cross examination of witnesses.
According to details Islamabad additional Judge Humayun Dilawar started hearing of Toshakhan case against Imran Khan on Friday (Today) in district and session court Islamabad.
Court asked that Tosha Khana case witnesses are present there?
Lawyer told that yes both witnesses are present in court.
Judge Humayun Dilawar said Amjad Pervaiz please sit and if you do not understand question please ask again.
Chairman PTI advocate Khawaja Haris started cross-examination with witness Waqas Malik and asked question. When you have joined election commission of Pakistan (ECP). Waqas Malik replied that he joined ECP in 2006 as Election Officer and in May 2023, I joined NIM training.
Khawaja Haris asked when you signed complaint?
Waqas Malik said complaint was extracted from computer and verification done automatically. Verification was did in October 2022 and all details were read before filing complaint.
During hearig Imran Khan advocate Khawaja Haris questioned witness Waqas Malik about affidavit attached with filed complaint on that witness replied that affidavit is attached with complaint and affidavit was submitted on November 8, 2022.
On speaking of PTI advocate Judge Humayun Dilawar expressed anger and asked him are you Chairman PTI advocate? If not then don’t speak. If you speak again you be removed from court.
During cross examination Imran Khan advocate said to witness that according to me you took oath while entering complaint and spoke lies. However, you are looking at Amjad Pervaiz advocate.
Advocate Khawaja Haris said this case is fake and these people are fake.
Along with that judge Humayun Dilawar prevented Amjad Pervaiz’s advocate from speaking.
