Scholarship of Balochistan’s 3000 students with Google positive sign of govt: Mitha

QUETTA, Jun 16 (APP): Adviser to Chief Minister for Information Mitha Khan along with Balochistan Government’s spokesperson Farah Azeem Shah on Friday termed the scholarships of 3000 students of Balochistan with Google a positive sign of the provincial government.

They also declared the scholarship of students with Google as a historic success and it would further improve the Information Technology (IT) sector.

They expressed these views while addressing a press conference jointly at Chief Secretariat here saying that despite the financial crisis, the upcoming budget of Balochistan would be people-friendly.

Information Adviser Balochistan Mitha Khan Kakar said that records were being digitized in Balochistan under the Land Revenue Management System saying that the aim of this system was to improve land records in Balochistan.

“Under which centers were being established in different districts of the province for the convenience of the people”, he said.

Balochistan government’s spokesperson said that despite the financial crisis, the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo was trying to provide all possible relief to the people.

The upcoming budget will be a people-friendly budget, in which special attention will be given to fishing and vocational training for youth, she said that the vision of the Balochistan government was that the long-standing problems of the people should be solved immediately.

She said that 3000 scholarships were being provided to students with the efforts of Chief Minister Balochistan along with the Google administration, which would encourage talented students.

Earlier, Google had announced 1000 scholarships, and later 3000 scholarships were announced due to the efforts of Chief Minister Balochistan, she maintained.

She said that the World Bank officials would be visited Quetta in July, and they would bring different plans regarding different projects.
