US has not imposed sanctions on Russian energy export: US state department spokesperson

WASHINGTON, JUNE 14 (Online): US state department has said US has not imposed sanctions on Russian energy export.

This was said by US state department spokesperson Matthew Millar while reacting to a question on Russian oil purchase.

He said we have been making it clear every country has to make decision according to its energy requirements. Russian oil has been sold cheaper than market rate. The limit fixed by US and its allies led to fall in Russian oil price. It is our estimate that Russia remained deprived of additional revenue of 100 billion dollars due to it.
