Sedition, inciting public against state institutions case: Court accepts exemption plea of Shahbaz Gill

ISLAMABAD, May 20 (Online): The court while accepting exemption from attendance plea of PTI leader Shahbaz Gill in sedition and inciting public against state institutions case adjourned the hearing of the case till June 3.

The case came up for hearing before Judge Tahir Abbas of district and sessions courts Saturday.

Prosecutor Rizwan Abbasi and junior lawyer of Shahbaz Gill appeared in the court.
Junior lawyer told the court Ali Bukhari counsel for Shahbaz Gill had gone to Rawalpindi kutchery therefore, the hearing be adjourned till 2 p,m.

Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra while expressing annoyance remarked what is story of adjourning the hearing till 2 p,m. I issue the warrants. I write to FIA.

The judge remarked only application has to be given from Shahbaz Gill. Shahbaz Gill had said while standing in the court Ali Bukhari is not his lawyer.

Prosecutor Rizwan said Shahbaz Gill had said Burhan Muazzam is his lawyer. According to my information Shahbaz Gill is in US.

The judge remarked we too know that he is in US.

The court adjourned the hearing of the case for one hour.
When court resumed hearing, the counsel for Shahbaz Gill appeared in the court. He filed exemption plea of Shahbaz Gill.
