ISLAMABAD, May 17 (Online): Good to see you remarks echoed in Islamabad High Court (IHC) as well.
During the hearing of petition filed by PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry against his arrest in IHC, IG Islamabad appeared in the court.
Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb while addressing him said ” IG Sahb, good to see you. Over these remarks every one in the court room burst into laughter.
It is pertinent to mention here Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Umar Ata Bandial had to face criticism on saying good to see you when PTI chairman Imran Khan appeared in SC after his arrest.
CJP in his explanatory statement had said that his words were misinterpreted.
He had said “I respect everyone and address all the people appearing in my court in the same way,”.
