ISLAMABAD, May 16 (Online): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has nullified the detention order of PTI leaders Shireen Mazari and Senator Falak Naz and ordered for their immediate.
The petition against the arrest of PTI leader Shireen Mazari and Senator Falak Naz came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Miangul hassan Aurangzeb Tuesday.
The magistrate order in connection with arrest of Shireen Mazari and Senator Falak Naz was presented before the court.
Expressing his resentment over ruckus in the court, Justice Miangul hassan Aurangzeb ordered that no more person should be allowed to enter into court.
The counsel for petitioner said Shireen Mazari neither participated in any protest nor she gave any statement. Shireen Mazari and Senator Falak Naz were not present in IHC at the time of arrest of Imran Khan. The arrest of both of them runs contrary to law.
The court while declaring the detention both of these PTI leaders null and void issued orders for their immediate release.
