Saqib Nisar’s son audio leak: committee ask forensic beforeMay 24

ISLAMABAD 12 May (Online): Special Committee of National Assembly (NA) on audio leaks investigation directed Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to submit forensic report of Former Chief Justice Saqib Nisar’s son audio leak before May 24.

Committee also asked opinion from law ministry over the summoning of Registrar Supreme Court and provision of National Assembly record.

Aslam Bhutani chaired in-camera session of committee on Friday in Parliament house.

Committee members, secretary ministry of law and justice, FIA and other officials participated in meeting.

Chairman committee told media the decision was made to summon former chief justice Saqib Nisar son Najim Saqib after the forensic of audio from FIA.

He said committee will decide if the FIA forensic of audio is good or not and in this regard committee will decide that Chief Justice son could be summoned or not.

Aslam Bhuttani told that committee members put condition of Law Ministry opinion on summoning of SC registrar.

Special committee asked Law ministry for opinion on summoning of SC registrar and said we don’t want to do anything without law ministry opinion.

FIA has been directed for forensic of audio of former chief justice son to decide the audio is original or fake: Aslam Bhuttani.

He said committee next meeting was called on May 24 and forensic report will be presented in next meeting.
