Islamabad, May 11 (Online): Legal team of Imran Khan has resorted to Islamabad High Court (IHC) in connection with transfer of Tosha Khana criminal proceedings case to some other court.
The plea has been taken in the petition the attitude of additional sessions judge against Imran Khan is biased. The lawyers of Imran Khan requested the court to adjourn the May 10 hearing but the court insisted on indicting Imran Khan rather than adjourning the hearing.
It was further said in the petition that the court indicted Imran Khan and summoned the witnesses on May 13 for the commencement of trial. Additional Sessions judge refused to bring objections of the lawyers of Imran Khan on record.
The court was requested to shift the Toshakhana criminal proceedings case to some other court.
