ISLAMABAD 09 May (Online): Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal says the government is committed to ensure access of education to all underprivileged segments of the society.

Expressing regret over the delay in carrying out educational projects by the previous government, the Minister said we are striving to revive the economic growth along with restoring development projects in health and education sector.

Criticizing the previous government of PTI, Ahsan Iqbal said the development projects including the flagship CPEC project that attracted biggest investment of country’s history by our government in 2013 were dumped.

He said during our previous tenure, we were heading to bring investments in Special Economic Zones while the PTI government sabotaged all those development plans with a conspiracy under its corruption narrative that resulted in zero gain.

The Minister urged the students to acquire modern education that can help Pakistan achieve economic growth.

Ahsan Iqbal said we need to have creative minds to compete the world and for this purpose, we should seek motivation from our golden age when we ruled the world from Arab to Spain.
