ISLAMABAD, May 09 (Online): Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has declared the National Assembly (NA) seat vacant in respect of former minister for religious affairs Mufti Abdul Shakoor after his death.
The ECP said in a statement issued here Tuesday that national assembly seat in NA-51 has been declared vacant. By polls will not take place against vacant seat of national assembly under article 224-4 of the constitution.
