ISLAMABAD, May 09 (Online): Anti Terrorism Court (ATC) has approved interim bail of PTI chairman Imran Khan in 7 cases against surety bonds of Rs 50000 each till May 23.
The ATC was led by judge Raja Jawad Abbaas.
Imran Khan appeared before the court along with his counsel Barrister Suleman Safdar.
Imran Khan resorted to the respective court under the directives of Islamabad High Court (IHC).
Barrister Suleman Safdar counsel for Imran Khan told the court he will want to tell some back ground of these cases. When we had brought five petitions then the doors were closed. Intense shelling was carried out for 40 minutes. We resorted to Lahore High Court and obtained protective bail.
The court remarked Suleman Sahb we will hear your details later. We approve your bail before arrest plea.
The court approved bail of Imran Khan in 7 different cases till May 23.
