No extra money will be charged from pilgrims. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs

ISLAMABAD, May 1st (Online): Federal Minister for Religious matters Senator Talha Mahmood has denied the news items regarding charging extra money to pilgrims for Aab-e-Zamzam.

Talha Mahmood has said in a statement issued by spokesperson of Ministry of religious affairs, I am supervising the Hajj arrangements myself.
Pilgrims will not be charged more than the package.

The money for Aab-e-Zamzam is also included in Hajj Package. We will not charge extra money.

There is no authenticity in the news regarding collection of additional charges for Aab-e-Zamzam.

He further added I will not tolerate any negligence in hajj managements.

The Saudi government started bottling Zamzam with special packaging several years ago.

Many years ago, pilgrims used to fill Zamzam cans themselves, which had complaints of leakage.
