ISLAMABAD 27 April (Online): Power division has announced relief over the application to increase price of electricity for official discos.
NEPRA will hear the plea on May 03 for final fuel adjustment.
Central power purchasing agency (CPPA) pleaded to increase price of 1.17Pkr in term of fuel adjustment of the month of March.
According to power division real fuel adjustment for the month of March gives 0.41pkr relief.
Due to power division steps production expenses of electricity decreased.
CPPA asked NEPRA for increase of 1.17pkr increase in electricity price.
NEPRA asked for increase due to arrears of 14billion of 2021 of the former government.
