LAHORE, April 21 (Online): Bushra Bibi wife of PTI chairman Imran Khan has written letter to Prime Minister (PM), caretaker Chief Minister (CM) Punjab and others due to fear of police operation in Zaman Park during Eid ul Fitr.
According to sources Bushra Bibi has sent letter through Azhar Siddique advocate.
It has been said in the text of the letter fear is there that police will conduct operation in Zaman Park on the occasion of Eid. Larger bench decision is also there. But plan has been evolved to misinterpret court’s decision. Earlier operation was conducted by violating court’s order.
It was further said in the letter PM and Caretaker CM Punjab and others should refrain from carrying out any operation by upholding court’s order. If operation is conducted in Zaman Park then the superior courts will be approached.
It is pertinent to mention here Bushra Bibi had resorted to Lahore High Court due to fear of possible police operation in Zaman Park during Eid.
The court while rejecting Bushra Bibi petition had imposed fine of Rs 100000 on her.
Earlier Lahore High Court and Islamabad High Court had issued orders that Imran Khan be not harassed.
