ISLAMABAD, April 07 (Online): Missing Persons Commission has filed its progress report in Supreme Court (SC).
It has been said in the report that 141 cases regarding missing persons were registered in the month of March. 59 cases were disposed of. Among these cases 52 missing persons were traced. In the month of March 47 missing persons returned to home. Bodies of three persons were found. Two missing persons were found in the jails of the country. Among disposed of cases, 7 cases were not enforced disappearance cases.
As many as 9534 cases of missing persons were received by commission. The commission disposed of 7105 missing person’s cases till March 31.
2370 missing person’s cases are pending with missing person’s commission.
