ISLAMABAD, April 03 (Online): PTI leaders have said Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave constitution but his so called successors have decided to subvert the constitution.
The doctrine of might is right will be there in Pakistan without the constitution and Pakistan cannot afford it.
Talking to media men outside Supreme Court (SC) here Monday, PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said one community has invaded the constitution and the second is knocking court’s door to for justice.
He held the Supreme Court (SC) is empowered to interpret the constitution.
The entire nation is expressing solidarity with the judges. The lawyers in thousands of number are present in SC. Today the so called successors of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto are attacking constitution.
He observed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto gave the constitution to the nation and on the other hand his grandson Bilawal Bhutto is hell bent upon abusing the constitution.
PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry has said government is scared of every gathering. The hurdles erected for stopping the lawyers from coming to SC are unnecessary.
He went on to say if lawyers are expressing solidarity with the constitution and Supreme Court then the state should be thankful to them.
But here the government is fearful of the constitution and is preventing the court from working.
He underlined PTI is considering to file reference to get cancel registration of PML-N as party. An absconding criminal is making decisions of this party in sheer defiance of election act.
PML-N has announced it does not accept Supreme Court, he said adding this announcement itself falls in the ambit of article 6. 7 baseless cases have been registered against him, he disclosed.
A terrorism case has been registered against me while I was not present in Lahore, he added.
