ISLAMABAD, March 10 (Online): President Dr. Arif Alvi has appointed Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar as Vice Chancellor of Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU).
For this purpose, the President conducted detailed interviews of three candidates on the recommendations of the search committee.
The search committee had recommended the names of Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, Raheel Qamar and Fazal Khalid.
The appointment was made under the Quaid-e-Azam University Act.
