Pakistan’s Supreme Court has ordered the immediate demolition of illegal lawyers’ chambers and evacuation of a football ground in Islamabad’s Kachehri district, at the request of the Islamabad Bar Association. The Islamabad Bar had requested that the lawyers’ chambers built within the District Court of Islamabad be demolished a few weeks ago and the record of the lawyers lying there be damaged.

When the CDA realized that the problem had gotten worse, it launched an operation to demolish the illegal structures, the breaking news of which was prominently published by all Urdu media, including Pakistan News International or PNI.
